The Ramachandi Temple ::- Maa Ramachandi Temple Is One Of The Famous Temples In Ganjam District, State Of Odisha., India. It Is Just 7 Km From Chatrapur Town Head Quarter Of Ganjam District. It Is Situated On Top Of A Hill. 


Once Upon A time was A Place Of Siddhas Who Used To Do Puja To Goddess Kali (Chandi) By Offering Animals Like Goats, Hens Etc. From The Hill Top, You Can Have The View Of The Rushikulya River On One Side And Natural Greenery On The Other Side. In The Sanctum Of The Shrine Are Installed The Heads Of Three Goddess Exquisitely Carved Out Of Stone In A Unique Orison Style. 


Here The Sculptor Had Taken Utmost Care To Depict. Since No Inscriptional Evidence In Regard To The Date Of The Images Is Available On Style And Iconographic Features, The Image May be Assigned To The Early Medieval Period. 


There Are Villages Big And Small, Crop Fields And Coconut Plantations, Vegetable Farms And The Colour Of the Hillock Varying From Red Saffron. The Deities Are Worshipped Under The Names Of Harachandi, Jayachandi And Ramachandi. As Regards The Installation Of Three Deities Various Thoughts Come To Mind.



How To Go ::- Ramachandi Temple Is Connected By Two Roads, Which Is Headquarter Chatrapur And Purusottampur. Nearest Railway Station Is Chatrapur And Ganjam.
